How can one repair a changhed/ damged MBR in case of windows Vista?

Any tried tested utility?

I used Paragon Partition Manager ... it is Vista compatible and easy to use. You can make boot CD on other computer and repair MBR.

Usually if you use fdisk in DOS mode, you can type "fdisk /mbr" and it will repair the master boot record.
Not sure about Vista.

use the DVD Vista Installer package. Vista boot files are different from those of Win XP
