I have a backup folder which is no longer needed. It has a copy of windows Vista Home Premium and other Microsoft Demo Products in it. I need to delete this material. When I try I get, an Access Denied -- you don't have permission to do this, message. I have tried changing the permissions and ownership but get the same message as when I try and delete them. Can anyone help me with this?

I have similiar problem as in have Xp on HDD 0 and Vista on HDD 1 .
So need to delete the copy of Vista and pertaining folders for space but unfortunately the files and folders seem to be stuborn . I get "Access Denied " mssg . I have somehow manaegd to delete 2 gb out of 15 gb within Program Files by altering ownership permissions . Been surfing web extensively for the solution but in vain seems will hav to load LInux and Kill it . Do lemme know if you come across a way out of this " DENIED " spree .
