Ive just got a new computer that has Vista on it and I have an excel file which wont open on it. Is excel now called Spreadsheet as I cant find Excel anywhere on Vista and most of the data is missing when i open it with Spreadsheet.
Vista is an operating system--Excell is a program. Your computer probably came with the microsoft "works suit" which has a program called spread sheet that appears to be like excell but it has very limited functionality. You need to get a copy of excell 2007 or office 2007. I use Office all the time and I just upgraded. Its expensive but the best always is. Office 2007 has no issues with older files --no converting it just opens them and they work like they always did.
