keyboard problem

my problem is this, when i hit the four key above my letter keys i get the money mark $. if i tap it long enough the number four will come up sporadic. same with the five key, percent % then sometimes i get the number five. example: $4$$4$$$$$$$$$$4$ then the five i will tap real fast also, example: 5%%%5%5%%%%%5% . only happens to these keys only. and using no shift key. i can not use my shift key because if i press it it will give me this, example: $$4$$4$$$$$ witch is just like pressing the four key many times. also i hit the space bar i will get my single space when typing but also my computer pops up from my desktop. if i hit the letter v i will get windows media player popping up. this is all that i can see not working right now. as you can see this is very annoying. i have hooked up this keyboard to another computer and it worked fine. i have uninstalled the driver for the keyboard and reinstalled.i checked the cord. i do not know how to reset these keys or fix them to do the right thing. i need real help. i am using vista business. please help.
