Shared Folder Problem

hey all, this is my first post..i have another computer connected to my network..thus, i do share some files and the user of the other computer do the same..my problem is, in the shared folders, the 'users' folder (which can be found in computer->c drive->users) is automatically shared..i tried to remove the sharing by right-clicking, properties, sharing..but it cant be unshared..how to remove this folder from being shared? please help me..when this folder is shared, everything from my desktop to my documents are being shared automatically, which i do not wish for..please help..(currently, i have set a permission level for that folder to be accessed, which i assume is safe, but i really will fill much better seeing that folder off the shared files folder.)

You should open "Network and Sharing Center" and turn off "Public folder sharing".

public folder sharing is already off still users folder in the network still visible
