| Windows Vista introduces a new concept for adding additional performance to a running system. Windows ReadyBoost™ lets people use flash memory on a USB 2.0 drive, SD Card, Compact Flash, or other memory form factor to provide additional memory cache—memory that the computer can access much more quickly than it can access data on the hard drive. Insert a USB 2.0 memory drive with at least 512 MB capacity. When prompted, click use this device to speed up my computer. |

First: Not all USB Flash Memory will work
In my oppinion the brand KINGSTON is one of the best that work fine but it is not like most of you think.
Better buy some more real memory, like 4 GB or 6 GIG
I am runnung my VISTA ULTIMATE with 4GIG RAM and VISTA SMOKER installed and it really works fine untill now.
My system tray has about 15 icons loading when this OS starts.
I cannot complain for now,but working with USB Flash Memory just to boost up my VISTA, forget about that kid stuff |
