I am not sure that this is the right forum for this, but I have a problem .
When I transferred my files from my computer running XP to my computer running Vista, all Corel files (WP & Quatropro) became locked. They are now read only. How do I unlock them? The new computer is an HP Notebook with AMD Turion 64x2.

you can unlock your files by going to settings then your user account
then change your administrator rights on your files in to full options.

If the properties did not work look for a program called xdn tweeker. It is freeware so it shouldnt be too hard to find. on the program you can add Take Ownership to your right click menu. This file will let you set the rights to almost any file. I had a minor problem like this and it worked for me. Hope it works for you if you still need it.
