Using Google Gadgets oCalendar - error message PLEASE HELP

When I try to install the ocalendar (one of the features I saw which is why i bought Vista), It says

"please wait while windows configures the google desktop plugin - ocalendar" I go through and accept the thing then I get an error message which says

"there is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run...(contact support or package vendor)"

Can you help me? Where do i need to go to get the right drivers or whatever i need?
