| Comment: | ViewGED 1.02 by Gary Dix is exactly what I was looking for. It displays gedcoms as a list of names and as a tree. It probably does more, but it is mostly a viewer. I downloaded it to my Vista machine, and it works fine. It doesn't really install, it just opens. It runs like a DOS program, so you have to right click on a gedcom and choose "open with" .. browse to where you saved ViewGED...check "always use this program to open this type of file". It is simple, but I like it. |
