| Comment: | Managing our audit team nationwide requires using email, SMS, and voice calls. However, all these available communication mediums are usually reserved for one-on-one collaboration. To really make it a group effort (even virtually), we tried TeamMessenger. The first thing I noticed was that it is easy enough to install over our intranet. While the West Coast office (where I am) is using Windows Vista, our New York office is still using Windows XP. This didn’t pose much of a problem since TeamMessenger can be installed on either system and still be able to communicate ion with each other. We were able to conduct weekly meetings without much hassle. With its file sharing capabilities and integration with our SharePoint document management and project workspace system, having ten people collaborate on a report was fast and focused. For the first time in six years that I’ve managed our company’s sales team throughout the United States, only now with TeamMessenger have I actually felt as if I was connected to my staff but also to what they can bring to the table – from training to sharing our success stories and failures. We might actually meet and even surpass our targets this year. |
