Be aware of the orientation of the FireWire or USB plug when connecting it to the ... Turn off the Audio Express.

- Disconnect the FireWire cable from back panel if it is connected.

- Connect the Audio Express to the computer via USB.

- Press and hold the Mic 1 knob on the front panel, and turn on the Audio Express.

- Release the Mic 1 knob when the word UP appears on the front panel LED's.

- Open the firmware updater program and follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
